The campus of our Design School in Singapore is at National Design Centre. It has an area of 212 sqm and comprises:
- 2 design studios (classrooms) of 40 sqm each
- 1 meeting room cum office (20 sqm)
- 1 large open space with Projects follow-up spaces, creativity zones and a pantry
- Library
- Dining Area
- Degree Project & Thesis follow-up space with seating pods
- 3 TV screens 60” and above
- Computer software and Digital learning kits of which Arduino Kits
- Wireless projection facilities on TV Screens
- Virtual Reality System with HTV Vive kit and wireless controllers

Master in design for smart cities, now open in Singapore
The Masters in Design for Smart Cities are a 2-year, postgraduate programmes, developed by globally renowned design university, Strate.
The Master Degrees will train Design Managers and Smart City experts. The multidisciplinary approach of combining design, humanities, technology and management, is taught through the model of Design Thinking and Design Doing, where students craft innovative mindsets based on design methodology and extensive hands-on practice.
From 2000 to 2013, he supervised all the degree projects and conducted communication classes for the 1st and 5th year students, while juggling dual roles as a consultant and pluri-media author.
In 2007, Dominique joined Strate on a full-time basis whilst creating the department “Interactive Systems and Objects”, where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is at the heart of the design propositions.
He then created and managed the Research and Development Department in 2010. Since 2013, Dominique is the Dean and Director of Strate School of Design (Group) with campuses in Paris, Singapore and Bangalore
Jacques Malz

Schooled in French educational institutions like HEC Paris, EDHEC and Sciences Po Strasbourg, Jacques comes accomplished with 2 Masters degrees specializing in Management, Strategic Business Unit Management with emphasis in Finance. He has also attained Bachelor degree in Political Science majoring in Economics and Finance.
At HEC Paris, Jacques’s Thesis on ‘’China Cross-Cultural Management Challenges for Western Managers’’ was accorded cum laude.
As a European with European, American and Asia Pacific business exposure, Jacques has overseen up to 200 employees in addition to managing companies and corporations with revenues amounting up to Euro 150million.

Jacques brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience in the industrial sector with career locations spanning across Asia Pacific in various C-level positions.
He has been living in Singapore with his family for more than 10 years. He now engages into Human Capital Development with the deployment of human-centric Design forcefully embodied by our design university in Singapore.
Academic Board Members
Private Education Institutions (PEI) are required to establish an Academic Board to develop the policies and procedures governing academic quality and rigour, implementation, adherence and review.
The Academic Board of a PEI must include at least three members who meet the conditions detailed in the Private Education Act.
The members of the Academic Board may be the same as those on the Examination Board.
A PEI may appoint its managers or staff as members of either the Academic or Examination Boards as long as there is no conflict of interest.
The responsibilities of the Academic Board include:
- Ensuring that the content and duration of the modules or subjects, as well as the entry and graduation requirements of the course are appropriate:
- Approving the deployment of teachers:
- Facilitate the PEI to implement and comply with the policies and procedures that are developed;
- Review the academic policies and procedures at least once a year.
The Academic Board may comprise various subgroups looking into the academic rigor of courses in different disciplines or subject areas.

Examination Board
The Examination Board will be in charge of the development of examination and assessment procedures, such as developing and facilitating the implementation of procedures to:
- Ensure the security of examination scripts and answer scripts;
- Ensure the proper conduct of examinations and assessments;
- Define and ensure the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;
- Conduct moderation of examination and assessment marks; and
- Handle appeals from students with regard to examination or assessment matters.
